November 14, 2017 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued our second patent today, November 14, 2017.  U.S. Patent No. 9,815,529 covers our WAG Boarding Steps™ Models, LM-6/LM-6H, HSM-6, HSM-10 and RDM-10.

July 12, 2016 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ will be exhibiting at Game Fair 2016 in Anoka, Minnesota
on August 12-14 and 19-21, 2016. This will be the first time the company has participated. Our
WAG Boarding Steps™  “H-Series” models will be featured along with a few other models on display.

January 31, 2016 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce a major product improvement to WAG Boarding Steps™ Model SLM-12 that significantly increases the number of boat swim ladders it can be attached to.  The lower mounting arms now telescope up to 8″ to provide both length and angle adjustment.  This new feature allows fitment to swim ladders of any angle and cross-member spacing while achieving approximately a 45 degree angle of the dog ladder.  All patented functionality remains the same.  This feature also allows the unit to be folded and collapsed without tools to fit in the WAG BAG™.  The design eliminates the need to purchase the arm extender kit and can be retrofitted to previously purchased SLM-12 units.

November 24, 2014 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce the addition of a ninth model, WAG Boarding Steps™ Model HSM-6, for the rapidly growing pontoon boat market.  The HSM-10 mounts to the deck at a side gate or extended
platform and rests against the pontoon.  The unit can be installed and removed without tools and folds or breaks down to fit in the WAG BAG™ for transport
and storage.  This new model addresses the requests of many of our customers to have an option for pontoon boats that does not mount to the swim ladder.

Also being introduced are “H-Series” versions of WAG Boarding Steps™ Model PM-6 in oak moss green and marsh grass tan with black hardware for hunting.
This has been our most popular custom ladder design and based on that demand, it will now be offered as a stock unit. This configuration is ideal for hunting
with platforms.

August 10, 2014 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce the addition of two-step extension kits for WAG Boarding Steps™ Model PM-6 and WAG Boarding Steps™ Models LM-6/HSM-6.  The two-step extension kits attach to the bottom of the existing step assembly and increase the vertical rise from 24″ to 32″ for applications where the dog needs more steps in the water.  The new products can be found on our Accessories page.

May 12, 2014 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce the addition of an eighth model, WAG Boarding Steps™ Model XPM-6, for above-ground pools
where the deck sits adjacent to the pool lip versus over it.  The XPM-6 functions just like the PM-6, but offers extended side pivot plates to allow the pivot mounts to be
placed farther back from the water’s edge resulting in the load being transmitted into the deck versus the pool lip.  You asked for it; we listened.

February 6, 2014 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ will be exhibiting at the St. Louis Boat & Sportshow on February 26 – March 2, 2014 at the America’s Center and Edward Jones Dome.  This will be the first time the company has participated.  All seven models of WAG Boarding Steps™ will be on display.

January 6, 2014 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ will be returning to the Minneapolis Boat Show on January 30 – February 2, 2014 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  This will be the third time the company has participated and each year has offered new models of WAG Boarding Steps™ based on the needs expressed by customers.  This year is no exception with the addition of Model PM-6 and Model RDM-10.

December 3, 2013 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is proud to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued our first patent today, December 3, 2013.  U.S. Patent No. 8,596,212 covers our WAG Boarding Steps™ Model SLM-12.

October 29, 2013 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ has launched a new website to accommodate business growth.  Visitors to the home page are now directed to products by application (recreational boats, hunting/fishing boats, docks, swimming pools, vehicles/home use) versus model.  This navigation change will make it easier for potential customers to determine which WAG Boarding Steps™ model is right for their application.  Those with questions or with special needs
are still encouraged to call the toll-free customer support line.  The new website has been structured for search engine optimization. While WAG Boarding Steps remains the product name and most accurately describes the dog-friendly design, the new content refers to them as dog ladders, doggie ladders, dog ramps, dog stairs and many other search terms people use.  The addition of social media buttons on the top of each page makes it easier to access additional information and share with others.  Continued enhancements are planned and feedback is always welcome.

June 20, 2013 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce the addition of WAG Boarding Steps™ Model PM-6.  The PM-6 will mount to any horizontal surface and cantilevers into the water at a 45 degree angle.  It can be pivoted out of the water and easily removed from the pivot mounts.  This model is ideal for swimming pools, low-freeboard boat swim platforms and numerous waterfront applications.

An adjustable hook option has also been introduced for WAG Boarding Steps™ Model SLM-12 to fit swim ladders with rung or cross-member sections of up to 4″ and swim ladder widths of up to 16″.  This offering is in reaction to the growing number of inquiries from pontoon boat customers who are looking for another option to let them get their WAG on.

January 20, 2013 – WaterDog Adventure Gear™ is pleased to announce the addition of WAG Boarding Steps™ Model RDM-10, a set of removable dock mount dog steps that mount over two locating pegs/studs in the top of your dock or seawall and have an adjustable plate that rests against the face of your dock floats or seawall.
